So the Apple iPhone has been on the market for a few months now but many believe that one feature that it is missing is GPS, well great news as a new GPS add-on called locoGPS will be one the market for iPhone customers to purchase in February 2008, and will cost just $89. This GPS module is made by Part Foundry.
According to Part Foundry all the software that is needed for locoGPS is open source and more applications for this add-on are being written every day. Once people have this add-on for their Apple iPhone, people will not need to carry many other electronic products with them as the iPhone has most of what you need. Tests are being carried out to see if this add-on can actually work on the iPod touch as well.
